Francis M. Naumann
The Dada Poetry of Walter Arensberg

From Tether 4, pages 132–151

What is omitted in these accounts is a discussion of seven radical Dada poems that Arensberg published in various little magazines from 1917 to 1919 that are—in terms of style and subject matter—like no other works of verse known by any other writers of the time, poetry that was so completely and intentionally void of meaning and aesthetic content that they were likely unintelligible to anyone who read them.
